The highlight of the calendar will once again be the Tignes Rugby Academy, with over 180 players expected to travel to the ultimate rugby training location in Europe. Staying at the custom built, modern and centrally located UCPA Sports hostel in Tignes Val Claret, the players will get to experience the life of a top professional in the hands of our professional and highly experienced team, headed by ex-French RWC Coach and rugby legend Philippe Saint-Andre. With training facilities including the centrally located grass & all weather pitches plus the world class Tignespace training centre, the programme delivered (based around the C.A.R.D.S. development framework) is truly best-in-class, covering assessment, skill and personal development. But it’s not all hard work, with players from more than 10 nationalities getting to enjoy the unrivalled leisure facilities and organised group activities included in the 7 and 14 Night packages. For the younger Irish or UK players not yet ready to travel to Tignes, our two domestic academies, the Finborough Rugby Academy (new for 2018) and Kilkenny Rugby Academy, offer a tailored version of the Tignes experience for Minis, Intermediate and Advanced players. Delivered over 3-5 days, the programmes developed in partnership with our partners RugbyCamps.ie and Xplore, will challenge and reward ambitious young players looking to develop their game at key stages in their underage career.
