By July 13, 2017No Comments

On to Tignes Rugby Academy Day 4 and a chance for the players to experience the joys of a down day, to relax, have fun and develop the strong friendships being made in the sunny surrounds of Tignes.

Tignes Rugby Academy Programme Day 4

A leisurely morning started with the usual excellent breakfast with choice of cereals, wholemeal breads, cold meats and cheeses, water and healthy juices.  The group were under less pressure as they walked with Camp Manager Cory and his team down to Tignes Le Lac to go up the Gondola lift to 2,700M.

After the scenic and fun morning, it was back to the UCPA for lunch before an afternoon of watersports, with the choice of paddleboarding, kayaking and waterslide, all in the warm summer sun.

After much fun and the usual youthful bravado, the group enjoyed a BBQ by the lake delivered by the newly arrived Johan Taylor, our Head of Rugby Programme who as a proud South African is a true master of the Braii BBQ!

The players whiled away the afternoon playing their choice of beach teag, vollayball and beach football, before heading back to the UCPA for the evening’s schedule of fun activities to wrap up Tignes Rugby Academy Day 4 in style.

With bodies and spirits refreshed, the day had set the players up for the final programme push, with another full schedule of pitch & gym activities set for the Day 5 Friday.
